LilBit runs without accounts or servers of its own. The app talks directly to public Nostr relays and media servers you can see and change in Settings, and to Breez for Lightning payments.
What stays on your phone: your Nostr key, your wallet seed, your follow list and blocks, your settings. They live in the iOS Keychain and app storage. There is no LilBit server for them to go to.
What is public by design: anything you publish (videos, profile, likes, follows, reports, public zaps) is a signed Nostr event on public relays. Anyone can read it, and it cannot be reliably recalled. The app says so before you post.
Payments: sats are sent over the Lightning Network on Bitcoin mainnet from the Breez SDK Spark wallet inside the app. Breez's services see payment data needed to route them; see Breez's privacy policy. Lightning addresses at lilbit.social are served by Breez.
Analytics and tracking: none. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Relays and media servers see your IP address when the app connects, as with any website. You choose which ones the app uses.
Children: LilBit is rated 17+ and is made for adults.
